We might produce less per cow than a more industrial dairy system, but the quality and effect on our cow’s health is to us something we should be celebrating.

Studies cited by Pasture For Life, suggest milk from 100% pasture fed cows contain lower total levels of fat, higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids and a lower, more balanced (and healthier) ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids.

More than this, 100% pasture fed milk contains significantly higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than milk from grain-fed animals and higher levels of vaccenic acid, which can be turned into CLA.

Finally, it is suggested our milk has higher vitamin and mineral levels than dairy from grain-fed animals. Particularly rich in vitamins A and E, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium

We don’t homogenise our milk as we want it to retain its natural state and as a result it will separate leaving the cream at the top.

We bottle and send our delicious milk the day it comes out of the cow.
