Benville Organic Soft Cheese (250g)

Benville – triple cream cheese from our pasture fed organic cow’s milk.

Described by the Guild of Fine Food as “utter perfection”, our Benville triple cream cheese is just one of a handful of products to have won the highest accolade of three gold stars at the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste Awards 2022.

Unctuous and creamy, with rich notes of the wild flowers and native pastures that make up our cow’s diets. Our Benville is made by hand in small batches on the farm, using that day’s milk to ensure optimum freshness.

At its younger stages you’ll find a slight crumbly core surrounded by a pale-yellow paste with a soft, white rind.

Later, the rind firms slightly turning an attractive golden brown. Its core melting in the mouth, covering your tongue in a velvet, silky layer of cream. Tastes of pasture will begin to give way to deeper mushroomy notes.

  1. James F

Loved it! Such a deliciously creamy cheese, good enough to eat on its own. I would be interested to know if anyone has any wine pairing suggestions

  2. Alex P

Well worth it. The best British cheese I’ve ever tasted. Certainly gives the French a run for their money. Would highly recommend it!

  3. The Eagles family

This is heavenly… so creamy and smooth and delicious. Possibly shouldn’t admit this but have just polished the whole thing off between my husband and I (& a taster for the cat). We enjoyed ours with a Riesling and some sable grapes.

  4. Cameron Witheridge Pearce

Picked up a pack in F&M. Can only describe it as cheesegasmic. Pairs well with Ruby port.

  5. Emily C

This is honestly heaven – ridiculously creamy. Utterly delicious

  6. G Dale

Utterly fabulous. Bought in F&M and will be buying more online. Best cheese we have tried in years.

  7. Marilyn Hawkey

The best soft cheese ever! Received this as a gift, and certainly want to buy some more. Hope to see it available locally in Cornwall, but will buy online if not.

Simply Divine….and it’s British!!! Bought it at our Local farmers market in Kensington. Can’t wait to try the truffle one !! And the milk too is the only thing my 8 year old will drink!!
